Certifications Have a New Home

And it’s Live on Trailhead Academy!

The big move was official this week—goodbye WebAssessor and hello Trailhead Academy!

That’s right, all things Salesforce cert related have a new home and it’s (maybe!) better than before. While it may be too early to tell just how much better the new process is—and there will inevitably be some new-site-stumbles—the URLs and links and scheduler and verification system are all live, and Trailblazers now have a new home for certification!

So What’s New?  

The biggest and best change is that all of your certification records, exam scheduling, maintenance, study guides, etc. are all in the same place (and the place that makes the most sense) Trailhead.

 

And here you’ll find all the certifications available to you, as well as recommended certs that you might want to tackle next.

 

You can register for certs, straight from Trailhead Academy!

 

And you’ll handle all of the scheduling, exam room prep, etc.

 

… even payment, all from right within the platform!

 

There’s also a super helpful verification page, for users to check the status of their current certs and for others to verify the certification of someone they’re considering for a role!

 

And of course there’s also a handy page for maintaining your certs (as you have to do throughout the year to keep up with new releases)!

 

The only downside on the maintenance page is that they still haven’t seemed to have solved the problem of just showing you the relevant maintenance modules—and instead require you to scroll (or ctrl+f) your way to the ones that matter to you.

But at least remembering which ones those are is easy with the updated verification tool!
