How to Get Your Free Slack Sandbox
Follow these steps to join the Slack Developer Program and provision your own free Enterprise Grid sandbox:
Sign Up for the Developer Program
Visit the Slack Developer Program .
Click Join the Program , fill out the form, and submit your application.
Check your email for a confirmation link and activate your account.
Log in and accept the Terms of Service.
You’ll now have access to the Slack Developer Dashboard!
Provision Your Free Sandbox
Go to the Sandboxes section and click Provision Sandbox .
If you’re not on a paid Slack plan, you’ll be asked to provide a payment method (for identity verification only—no charges apply).
Enter sandbox details and click Provision Sandbox again.
Once set up, your sandbox will appear in the Sandboxes page.
Click Launch in Slack to access your Enterprise Grid workspace.

Simulate real-world Enterprise Grid environments without restrictions.
Slack Sandbox Features & Limits
Your Slack sandbox includes:
Enterprise Grid-level features with up to three full-featured workspaces.
Support for eight users per sandbox (including two guests).
Ability to create 20 app integrations per workspace (max 60 per sandbox).
Slack Connect for external team collaboration (limited to three connections).
10,000 write / 40,000 read API calls per day for Slack datastore operations.
Sandbox Lifespan & Management
Each sandbox lasts six months (renewable every six months as long as you remain eligible).
You can have two active sandboxes at any given time.
After six months, sandboxes are archived but can be restored within a three-month grace period.
If you become ineligible for the program, sandboxes will be archived after 30 days.
