We have a very busy week ahead of us and though we are smack dab in the middle of the holiday season, it’s not time to be lazy. So sit back, open up your calendar, and let’s get planning!
Starting off this week, the Seattle, WA Salesforce Admin group is hosting their meeting about Salesforce. Regardless of where you stand in the ecosystem or want to get into it, it’s important to consider the 3 F’s (Family, Freedom and Finances) and how that will affect you. Gordon Lee, a Solutions Architect at Salesforce, will be providing you with a formula of sorts to help you plan for your future at 5pm (PT).
For those of you who like the content of the Pardot event I mentioned earlier, but want a different topic, well then you are in luck! The Marketing Cloud is the same exact thing, except with Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This event takes place at 7am (PT) on Tuesday, December 8th.
Then at 9am (PT) Optimizing Campaign Performance is going to teach nonprofits how to build a successful digital campaign! The future holds 2 things right now: uncertainty and technology is keeping businesses afloat and nonprofits need to plan for that! If you also want to learn how to analyze your campaigns performance and optimize how you reach out across different channels, then sign up!
The Denver, CO Salesforce Admin group is hosting the at 4pm (MST) which will be a celebration! They have a few things going on during this meeting, so let me break it down for ya. First, if you have a holiday drink or food recipe you would like to share, then reach out to the group leader! They will let you do a short demo during the meeting and if you’re like me (aka have no holiday recipes) then take notes! Then they will be playing BINGO (you have to register because they are sending out the cards in advance) and the winners will get a free certification voucher! Also, this year they have decided to support SafeHouse and provided multiple links on how you can help and give back! Finally, they will be sending out the annual salary survey (also beforehand) and talking about those results in the meeting.
Another fun event happening that night is the Joint Holiday Party! The Oakland User group, San Francisco Admin group and San Francisco Nonprofit group decided to join forces again to host this second annual group holiday party! They will be playing BINGO, trivia, and will have a few other events in store for you! If you want more details about the event, you will need to register and it’s starting at 5:30pm (PT).
The biggest event of the week, Trailblazers Together, is happening on Wednesday, December 9th! Starting at 8:30am (PT), Wayne Brady is hosting the event, featuring Pitbull and Megan Smith as guest speakers! For those of you who don’t know what Trailblazers Together is, it’s basically a celebration of the community and gives you the opportunity to network and connect more. Towards the end of the 3 hour event (if you decide to attend the pre show at 8am), attendees will have the opportunity to join Community Connection Circles, which is the forum for the community to network and engage. Finally on Thursday, December 10th at 9am (PT) Top Trends Impacting Nonprofits Now is back with its third annual report, but this time with additional information on how nonprofits can continue (or start depending on your situation) to get through the pandemic successfully. They will focus on the 3 areas: digital experience, managing through change and planning for the future. They will talk about the challenges and opportunities when using technology, the organization challenges and strategies in relation to the pandemic, and concerns and optimism when trying to achieve your mission.
