We didn’t want to overload your mind with more information after everything you learned from TrailheaDX this week and make you forget everything. I mean… it still looks like a lot of events, but don’t worry, you will be fine! So sit back, open up your calendars and let’s get planning!
Salesforce and myself are taking it easy on the amount of events coming your way next week. We didn’t want to overload your mind with more information after everything you learned from TrailheaDX this week and make you forget everything. I mean… it still looks like a lot of events, but don’t worry, you will be fine! So sit back, open up your calendars and let’s get planning!
I’ve got a lot of events coming at you on Tuesday, June 30th of this week. Starting at 7am (PDT), the webinar Give Back Together will help set the foundation for your employees to give back! The Salesforce community on Twitter uses the hashtag #GiveBackTogether a lot and this is where it’s from. The leaders of this meeting will give you tools and resources to help you plan, organize and build the culture of giving back. You will also hear from Salesforce employees who will tell you their stories about giving back to their coworkers and communities. Sounds like an inspiring way to start your Tuesday if I do say so myself.
This next event is for those in the education field. I know every one of my blog posts includes an event for the educational institutions, but there is a lack of information on when and how these institutions are supposed to open up, so they can use any help they can get! At 11am (PDT) Reopening Schools Safely will be hosting guest speakers from the New York Department of Education, Oakland Unified School District, and the Indianapolis Public Schools to join Salesforce and EdSurge in a panel discussion. They will talk about reopening, making planned and informed decisions and addressing the digital divide that is affecting both teachers and students.
If you weren’t able to attend TrailheaDX or any of the Summer ’20 Release events, then the Sacramento, Ca Admin Group has got you covered! At 3:30pm (PDT) they are hosting Summer 20 Release and TrailheaDX Highlights They want attendees to speak up about the favorite part of each event and share with the community about what they learned. Additionally, they want you to bring some snacks and a drink, so clearly this will be an entertaining event!
If you are anything like my mom and sister then you will be thrilled for Wednesday, July 1st event. As part of the Stories of Resilience series, Salesforce is hosting Chip and Joanna Gaines! We know them as the “fixer upper couple” from HGTV, but they are also the creators of the huge brand Magnolia that you see in every Target. They will be talking about their beginnings to building a massive business and brand.
Additionally, on Wednesday, the Circle of Success series is hosting another discussion. Starting at 4pm (PDT) Circle of Success is hosting a group of about 10 attendees to discuss ways you can collaborate efficiently and effectively. They will talk about using tools such as Quip and Chatter to help build and unite a team and increase its productivity. You as an attendee will also be invited to share tips and tricks on how you work successfully with your team virtually. Sounds like an intimate and helpful event to me.
Kicking off last week we started out in San Francisco with the Road to TDX20 w Kavindra Patel + Salesforce Development from the High Seas w Stephan Chandler-Garcia hosted by SF Dev group and had a Happy Hour with the SF WIT group. We learned about increasing your company’s visibility with Pardot in Getting Started: Pardot: Google Organic Basics Accelerator Webinar and how to build an effective integration strategy in Building a Data Integration Strategy that Maximizes ROI. Hopefully those of you in the nonprofit field learned how to host a virtual event in How to Bring Your (usually in-person) Fundraising Events Online.
And last but most certainly not least, we had TrailheaDX! We learned so much, got a performance from Jennifer Hudson and heard Trevor Noah speak about racial inequality in the United States and in South Africa.
And, as always, we will see you in the cloud.
