Another TrailblazerDX has come and gone, and this year’s event was nothing short of groundbreaking. The undeniable star of the show was Agentforce – Salesforce’s flagship AI platform – but TDX ‘25 brought much more than just AI to the table. Whether you’re an admin, architect, or developer, there were plenty of insights and new features to get excited about.

Agentforce Developer Edition
One of the biggest announcements was the launch of the Agentforce Developer Edition. For the first time, Salesforce professionals now have hands-on access to Agentforce and Data Cloud without using up valuable sandbox credits. Even better, this org won’t expire as long as you log in periodically.

Agentforce 2dx: Multi-Agent AI
Agentforce 2dx builds on Einstein Copilot, introducing multi-agent capabilities tailored for specific business roles. Instead of a single AI assistant, Agentforce now features multiple specialized agents:
- Agentforce Default – The built-in AI assistant within Salesforce, providing general user support.
- Agentforce SDR – A business development representative, handling initial outreach and lead qualification.
- Agentforce Sales Coach – Offers real-time coaching and insights to sales teams.
- Agentforce Service Agent – Automates customer support across multiple digital channels.
- Agent for Setup – Assists admins with navigation, setup tasks, and troubleshooting.
These agents go beyond basic chatbot interactions. They analyze data, anticipate issues, and proactively offer solutions before problems arise.

Agentforce 2dx Development Lifecycle
TDX ‘25 introduced the Agentforce 2dx Development Lifecycle, a suite of tools for no-code, low-code, and pro-code builders. A key highlight is Testing Center, which allows users to generate AI-powered tests at scale. This ensures agents perform as expected before deployment, increasing reliability.
Agentforce API: Now Available
The Agentforce API is now live and supports server-sent events (SSE), a long-running HTTP connection that streams progressive responses. This is ideal for agents that produce real-time insights over time. For simpler use cases, a synchronous HTTP request mode is also available.
Developers can leverage the Agentforce API in multiple languages, including JavaScript, Python, and Java.

Agent for Setup: AI-Powered Admin Support
Agent for Setup is designed to assist Salesforce admins with routine tasks, reducing friction in system management. Current capabilities include:
- Help Documentation – Get answers to common admin questions.
- Report Types – Generate custom report types dynamically.
- Connected Apps – Receive explanations on app configurations.
- Permissions Insights – Understand user access at a glance.
Future updates will introduce formula generation, object and field creation, and guided navigation for admin tasks.
AgentExchange Marketplace
Building AI agents from scratch takes time, which is why Salesforce launched AgentExchange. This marketplace allows partners and developers to share and discover Agentforce components, including:
- Actions – Pre-built integrations using Apex, Flows, APIs, and prompts.
- Prompt Templates – Structured, reusable AI prompts.
- Topics – Pre-configured AI workflows for specific tasks.
- Agent Templates – Complete AI solutions ready for deployment.
AgentExchange makes it easier than ever to explore, adapt, and deploy AI-powered agents without starting from scratch.
